ANZ Plus, 2023-2024
I designed a set of insights that gave customers visibility into their loan progress and encouraged the financial habits that help them own their home sooner.
Problem
Once a loan settles, most customers hear nothing further unless something goes wrong. Many didn't know what they could actually do with their loan, what affected it, or how their choices today shaped years down the line. That gap in understanding was part of what made the silence after settlement feel so disconnected.
Approach
Customers wanted more than a balance and a transaction list. They wanted to know where they stood on their loan, what their property was worth, how much they were saving through extra contributions, and whether their interest rate was working for them. Insights was designed to surface that information at a glance, removing the mental maths and giving customers a clearer picture of their loan without having to ask for it.
Loan progress
The loan progress tracker was carried over from ANZ largely unchanged, recognising it was already a well received insight that built customer value over time.

Getting ahead
Getting Ahead was new to ANZ Plus. Rather than treating extra repayments, recurring auto-repayments and offset as separate features, all three were unified into a single Estimated Time Saved figure, translating different financial actions into one number customers could actually understand: how much sooner they'd own their home.
